NOTICE OF OPEN HOUSE & PUBLIC HEARING

 

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Plan Commission of the City of Galesville will hold a public Open House followed by a formal Public Hearing to review and receive public comment on the proposed updates to the City of Galesville Comprehensive Plan as follows:

Date: Thursday, December 10, 2026

Open House: 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM (An informal opportunity to view maps, ask questions, and speak with Plan Commission members)

Public Hearing: 7:15 PM

Location: Galesville Public Library Community Room, 16787 South Main Street, Galesville, WI 54630

A summary of the proposed plan:

The Comprehensive Plans will guide the future growth and development in the City of Galesville. The comprehensive plan contains the nine required elements per Wisconsin Statues Section 66.1001(4)(d) including:

*Issues & Opportunities Elements                             *Economic Development Element

*Housing Element                                                      *Intergovernmental Cooperation Element

*Transportation Element                                            *Land Use Element

*Utilities & Community Facilities Element               *Implementation Element

*Agriculture, Natural, & Cultural Resources Element

The plans are available for review at City Hall 16773 S Main Street, Galesville, WI 54630 or on the City of Galesville Website: www.cityofgalesvillewi.gov
